Using Dr. Ivy
Dr. Ivy is the Home Island fossil/shard-to-egg NPC. After completing the relevant set, the creator loop extracts or exchanges DNA, selects Get Egg and visits the Incubator.
Practical questions
- Is the remains quest the same as the normal egg exchange?
- The 11 October creator guide separately says to talk about remains and accept a quest. Keep that quest distinct from the ordinary fossil-to-egg loop.
- Does UPDATE1’s Remnant bypass that quest?
- The dated code record lists one Raptor X Remnant. It does not establish that the reward completes the separately recorded fishing quest or supplies every prerequisite.
Is Dr. Ivy worth it? Best use and tier comparison
Use the Home exchange for a completed set and the separate accepted quest for remains fishing. The 12-shard Kai batch produces three eggs, while other recorded five/six counters are scene-specific. Neither a NPC tier label nor UPDATE1’s Remnant proves a universal exchange recipe or quest bypass.
